- Do I need a card to start the trial?
- Yes. You get seven days of full access — live classes with native tutors, group or 1-on-1, from 6am to 1am ET. Cancel any time before day seven and we never charge you.
- What if I have never spoken a word of Spanish?
- Then you start at the beginning, with someone whose job that is. A placement test puts you where you actually are, and every tutor and coach on staff teaches at any level — a first class in Spanish and a C1 conversation are both somebody’s work here. Every tutor is also proficient in English, so when something needs explaining in English, it can be.
- How long is a class, and when can I take one?
- Fifty minutes, live, on video, any time between 6am and 1am ET, every day. The other ten minutes of the hour are what your tutor spends writing up what you worked on and reading what the last tutor wrote.
- What is the difference between Group Classes and Starter?
- Group Classes gives you unlimited structured classes with a tutor leading them. Starter adds ten 1-on-1 classes a month on top of that same unlimited group access. Group is not a smaller version of Starter — it is a different way to begin, and plenty of people stay there because speaking in front of others is the thing they came to practise.
- How many people are in a group class?
- It depends on the class. A speaking class is capped at five people, because six is the number at which somebody stops talking. A class following the curriculum can have up to fifteen, since those are built around a lesson rather than around everyone getting airtime. Both run every day between 6am and 1am ET, and both are unlimited on every plan.
- Is coaching included in every plan?
- No. Starter and Premium include a coach who directs your plan and reviews where you are going. Group Classes does not — you get the tutors, the classes, the placement test and your position in My Journey, and you direct your own path through it. You also keep booking the tutors you like, so the person teaching you in month three is usually someone who already knows how you sound.
- What happens after the trial?
- On day seven the plan you picked starts billing at its normal price. Cancel any time before then and you are not charged at all.
- What if I am not satisfied?
- You have thirty days after your first payment to ask for it back, and you get it back.
- How do the six-month and annual prices work?
- You pay once, upfront, for the whole term — that single payment is why the price per month drops. Nothing renews monthly in between.
